To some travelers, restaurants are a relatively unimportant part of a vacation. As long as a resort has a restaurant, they’re happy. Usually, the beach, the suites, the pools, and the spa are all higher on the list of importance than the dining options.
Likewise, at some resorts, restaurants are simply a statistic in a brochure, as in, “Number of Restaurants: 6”. As long as the resort has enough food and chairs for their guests, they’re happy.
However, for guests at Excellence Resorts, it’s a completely different story! Dining is part of the vacation experience and some of the best memories clients take home with them. Why? Well, because Excellence does dining right! Read more

I personally love both selling and visiting Cancun, especially during the winter months that tend to get unbearably cold here in Minnesota.
Here’s my list of reasons why Cancun should be your go to choice for your winter vacation:
1) The winter months in the north bring feet of snow and below freezing temperatures while delivering the ideal climate south of the border in Cancun. In this paradise you’ll experience warm, bright days with average highs in the low to mid 80s. Read more

Sandals Resorts are amazing properties for couples who want to get away from it all and experience fine accommodations and great service! I highly recommend my clients to book a room category that includes butler service, and here are my top reasons why butlers really make the difference!
1. As soon as you enter a Sandals Resort and have booked a room with butler service, you are swept away to your suite through private check-in with your butler.
2. Your butler will make settling in so hassle free as he unpacks your clothes. This is such a nice touch!
3. Guests will get their own personal phone to call their butler. If you forgot your hat, suntan lotion, or if you want a Bellini and shrimp cocktail, he will bring it at your request. He’s just a phone call away!
4. Your butler will secure all of your dining experiences for the week. He can get you preferred seating and even fluff up your table nightly, or can provide a romantic dinner for two in your suite.
5. You’ll get surprises! When you get back from the pool or beach, you may find a bath drawn with flowers, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, or even Gluten free cookies and milk! Sushi can also be brought at your request.
6. You’ll get an upgraded mini-bar selection, plus snacks and 24-hour room service.
7. You will truly feel like a Prince and Princess on your Sandals vacation if you book a guestroom with butler service. From the moment you wake up , your wants and desires are met and they exceed your expectations. This is the perfect way to ensure you have an amazing vacation or honeymoon, so be sure to ask your travel agent about the great butler service at Sandals Resorts!

TI & Atlantis, Paradise Island Ambassador
I’m sure you’ve all heard of Atlantis, Paradise Island and many of you have already been there! But, for those of you who haven’t traveled to this destination in itself, read my top reasons why a trip to Atlantis is a MUST!
1- First of all, it’s such an easy flight from practically anywhere in the US. And, passing through customs in the Bahamas is painless. Plus once you land, you’ll be at the resort in no time, since the resort is just 10 miles from the airport!
2- You’ll definitely get some good family time together. With countless activities like swimming with the dolphins to an awesome waterpark with steep slides and everything, the whole family will have fun together. If the waterpark is really not your thing, take the family to the aquarium and you’ll see sharks, sting rays and so much more. And, there’s even a movie theater and comedy club.
3- If the adults want to get some quiet, pampering time, they can head to the Mandara Spa and treat themselves to a truly luxurious experience. And if they feel like spoiling their teenagers, they even have special spa treatments just for them!
4- The dining is soooo good! With four restaurants with celebrity chefs, guests will find themselves savoring every meal. There’s also 17 other dining options for those looking for something more casual, or even those looking to dive into a buffet.
5- I personally guarantee that no one will be bored! There’s simply too much to do at Atlantis, and guests will never have that longing for action or activities.
And, here’s my BIGGEST TIP for those interested in Atlantis, Paradise Island – book now! Too often clients will come to me and want to book their family vacation to Atlantis, but they’re booked or the air is sold out. Don’t let this happen to you. Contact us and start planning your holiday vacations now… even start thinking of your spring break plans for next year. It’s not too early!
TI & Cancun, Mexico Ambassador
Cancun, Mexico is one of the BEST places to visit for a great getaway. Here are my top 7 reasons you need to head there as soon as you can!
- The people in Mexico are really among the nicest you’ll ever meet. Mexican hospitality is simply the best.
- It’s SO easy to get there! The flights from the US are pretty quick… and from New York, it’s just 3.5 hours!
- The beaches are divine. The sand is so powdery soft and the water is the most gorgeous blend of turquoise and blue. Can it get any better than that?!
- There are resorts to fit virtually any traveler – from family resorts to spring break resorts, Cancun really has it all.
- You feel so safe and comfortable walking around the city. With all of the great Mexican residents and countless tourists, you’ll feel at home in this beautiful and special place.
- There’s so much to do! From the exciting park, Xcaret, to amazing shopping, nightlife and exhilarating tours, you can’t get bored! This is not just a sun and sand destination.
- The food is sooooo good. And, many EP hotels (non all-inclusive) are now offering dining plans that feature 5-star restaurants outside of the hotel. You must try it!

TI & Excellence Resorts Ambassador
As your Ambassador for Travel Impressions and Excellence Resorts, I must share with you my top 4 reasons why one of the Excellence Resorts will be just what you want for your honeymoon or special getaway with your sweetie. It is such an important time with you and your new spouse, and I just know that these resorts will provide the best memories for years to come.
1- The food is delicious! When I talk to my clients after they have experienced the food at Excellence, they always rave about it. The quality is really great, and there are no limitations. Some resorts will require guests to pay an extra fee, and some resorts only allow their guests to dine at a particular restaurant once during their stay, but you won’t find any of these restrictions at Excellence Resorts!
2- The staff is incredible. From the bellman to the head of the wait staff, everyone is so warm and friendly. They really go out of their way to make sure that each guest has an amazing experience.
3- The value is great. When I have clients who are looking for a quality resort, but are budget conscious, I always recommend Excellence Resorts. The amenities and accommodations are truly that of an upscale resort, yet the price is reasonable. I find that the vacation packages are less than other properties at their level, and that’s really great during this day and age!
4- Upgrades are reasonable. I often suggest room upgrades to my clients who are traveling to Excellence Resorts because they are offered at a reasonable rate, and the upgraded amenities are really great. I especially suggest the swim-out suites for honeymoon couples, and the Excellence Club for guests who like additional perks.
5- They’re for adults only. You won’t find any screaming kids or crying babies at one of these luxurious resorts, since they are strictly adults only. Let the relaxation begin!
Have I convinced you yet? Book your honeymoon to Excellence Resorts and get ready for a wonderful experience!

1. Know before you book! Celebrity performances are common, so try to book your vacation around a show. Enrique Iglesias will be performing on July 27th!
2. Reserve a Caribbean Sands Suite if you’re traveling with family or if you want to be close to the beautiful white sandy beach.

As part of the TI Ambassador program I was invited to visit Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa. Ths dates worked out to be able to visit around my birthday so we packed up and headed to Cabo!
This is Govy’s 1st plane ride, 1st trip to the beach, 1st time swimming in general! At 4 months this kid is on his way to becoming a world traveler!
Maddie is super excited because she always asks to go on vacation. After our last trip to Turks we told her that we’d have to wait until her baby brother was born and we got a passport for him before we could take our next vacation. It’s on now and she is delighted!
Dreams is not a on a swim-able beach so we’ll see how that goes. It will be odd to be at the beach and not able to get into the ocean…
So…Viva La Mexico! Let’s go to Cabo!
Day 1 – Let’s Go to Cabo! Govy’s 1st plane ride!
April 26, 2013
I understand why flights to Mexico and the Caribbean are so early but it still doesn’t make things any easier. Getting 2 kids and Mike and I up and out of the house on time and at 3am is a feat in itself. Especially on an hour and a half of sleep. It’s gonna be a long day! We arrived at the airport about 2 hours early and really needed every minute of it. At check in, supposedly our reservation was corrupted, that’s a new one, so they had to rebook our reservation. they had trouble booking Govy as an… Click here to read more.
Day 2 – Let the Fun begin…after a video conference with my office.
April 27, 2013
Since we crashed out early last night we were up pretty early today. I started my day video conferencing with the office on 3 hour sale training, at least I had an awesome view and breakfast delivered to the suite. While I was working, Mike and Maddie went to the shoreline to check it out and play in the sand. She enojed swinging in the hammock too. We ordered room service for breakfast, it was quick and delicious, waffles, fruit, fresh juice, pancakes. We unpacked, another test to how tired we were yesterday, usually it’s the very 1st thing that I… Click here to read more.
Day 3 – Relaxing Pool Day
April 28, 2013
This morning I was up early, thank you Mountain Time Zone and Maddie was not too far behind me. I did a little bit of work and we had a typical lazy Sunday morning, just with a better view than our backyard. After slowly getting everyone ready we headed to the Seaside Grill to have breakfast. On the way to breakfast we grabbed some chairs by the pool, they go fast of course. They had my favorite beanie, chip, onion dish that I remember from Mazatlan days so I was all over that. They had typical breakfast dishes, eggs, pancakes,… Click here to read more.
Day 4 – Fun in the Sun
April 29, 2013
This morning we were a bit slower to get up, vacationing is exhausting, LOL! After we got our pool things together we headed to try and talk to the Olympus Tours rep about hiring a private driver for a couple of hours and to re-confirm our private return transfer back to the airport but he was not at the desk. We stopped at the AmStar (Dreams Tours Company) and talked to them about a private driver for 3 hours and were quoted $400 US, um yea, cough, NO! Seriously, I was a bit floored so we declined that offer. We… Click here to read more.
Day 5 – Another Lazy Day in the Sun
April 30, 2013
Maddie and Govy love vacation but they really do not seem to know how this works. You are supposed to be able to stay up late (that part they got for sure) and SLEEP IN, this is the area that they are lacking in. They had us up by 7:00am, which is really 8:00am at home so really not that far off of normal but dang, can I get some sleep please?! We got our stuff ready for the day and went to breakfast at El Patio, really one of the best all-inclusive breakfasts that I can remember. Disclaimer, I… Click here to read more.

As a Luxury Travel Manager who loves to get to know my clients and pick the best resort and destination to fit their needs, I often suggest Sandals and Beaches Resorts. Below are my top 3 Reasons to Choose a Sandals or Beaches Resort for Your Next Vacation!
1.) Truly All-Inclusive- All Sandals and Beaches Resorts vacation packages are truly all-inclusive. Not only are all of your meals, drinks, non-motorized watersports, activities, etc. included, but you’re not allowed to tip! Often times while visiting an all-inclusive property, the staff may expect tips, but this is not the case at Sandals Resorts. You’re only permitted to tip the butlers, if you have one, and that is at your discretion.
2.) Hospitality- The hospitality at these resorts is unbelievable, regardless of the destination. Sandals Resorts employees go above and beyond and really nurture their relationships with travel agents. For instance, I have contacts in virtually every department, from reservations to the GM of the hotels. If there’s ever a problem with a booking, or with my clients who are already at one of the Sandals Resorts, the issues are handled immediately and flawlessly.
3.) Something for Everyone- With close to 20 different resorts, there’s truly something for every type of traveler. Plus, each resort has its own personality. Some properties are more quiet and ideal for couples, while others are more lively and suited for young families. I like to recommend Beaches Ocho Rios for those who prefer smaller resorts and a more laid back setting. Beaches Negril Resort & Spa is great for travelers who want a bit more going on, and of course Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa is HUGE and so much fun for all who visit!
Take a look at the photos below – the first image is of Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, second is of Beaches Ocho Rios, and the third is of Beaches Negril Resort & Spa!
