ASTA Names Travel Impressions '2016 Wholesaler of the Year'

FARMINGDALE, NY (Oct. 17, 2016) — Travel Impressions ( was named 2016 Wholesaler of the Year by the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA). Bob Duglin, VP of Business Development for ASTA, and television personality Samantha Brown presented the award to Charles Mest, Jr., Senior Director of Strategic Business Development for Travel Impressions, at a ceremony honoring "companies that recognized the agency community for the value they provide" during the travel agent advocacy group's ASTA Global Convention last week in Reno, NV.

Travel Impressions was selected based on the votes of ASTA's membership, which represents 80% of all travel sold in the United States through the travel agency distribution channel.

"When we say 'Your Success Is Our Destination,' itís not just a tagline—our entire business model is predicated on our ability to ensure agents' profitability," said Scott Wiseman, President of Travel Impressions.

"The ASTA recognition is particularly meaningful because it comes directly from the travel agent community," Wiseman noted. "There is no greater honor than to have them recognize us and what we do."
