Travel Impressions Adds New Tours in Mexico
FARMINGDALE, NY (Dec. 9, 2010) – Travel Impressions has expanded its Mexico product portfolio for 2011 with new tours including dinner cruises, sightseeing, whale watching, and zip line experiences. Days, times and transportation to/from tours vary by activity. All tours are fully commissionable to travel agents.
CANCUN
- Lobster/Steak Dinner Cruise (3 hours);$100 per person – This excursion begins at beautiful Maroma beach on the Mayan Riviera, considered one of the best beaches in the world. It includes a one-hour catamaran sail with relaxing music, canapés and open bar, followed by an exquisite, romantic dinner on the beach.
- Contoy Island Tour (8 hours); $90 per adult/$48 per child – This tour visits Contoy Island, part of the second largest coral reef chain in the world. Contoy features beautiful beaches and perfect water for snorkeling – the Caribbean is shallow, clear, and calm with an abundance of underwater life that will thrill any snorkeler. The island is also internationally famous for its flora and fauna, especially for its more than 90 species of resident or migratory birds.
- Zip Lines Extreme Canopy (6 hours); $90 per person – This circuit includes 1.5-mile-long zip lines from which participants can admire the region's awesome vegetation and fauna. Each guest is equipped with harnesses, security pulleys, helmets and gloves. A complimentary light lunch is provided at the end of the experience.
PUERTO VALLARTA
- Canopy Tour Zip Lines (4.5 hours); $75 per person – This canopy tour offers the opportunity to see Puerto Vallarta from a different perspective as participants traverse through the tops of the forest using pulleys on horizontal cables.
- Marietas Island Tour/Whale Watching (7 hours); $75 per adult/$38 per child – This tour offers a wonderful opportunity to combine sun and fun while discovering the wonders of the natural world. Guests are taken by first-class catamaran to the Marietas Islands. Humpback whales are regularly sighted in the Bay from November to April. Dolphin encounters are a regular, year-round occurrence.
LOS CABOS
- Whale Watching (4 hours); $59 per adult/$30 per child – Every year, Cabo San Lucas is visited by a variety of whales and this tour lets participants observe, listen and learn about these magnificent giants. Whale watching enthusiasts of all ages are in for a life-changing experience. Skilled and experienced crew members have trained eyes and vast knowledge of the best whale watching hot spots, promising first-hand encounters from the decks.
- Canopy Zip Lines (3.5 hours); $84 per adult/$72 per child – At the Costa Azul Canyon, participants can take part in an exciting, adventurous cable ride high above the river canyon. While suspended safely in a harness, fly across the trails and river of this incredible area. Expert guides are available to assist in every aspect so participants can enjoy this unique experience to the utmost.
- Sunset Dinner Cruise (2 hours); $55 per adult/$28 per child – Nothing in the world is as magnificent as a sunset over the Pacific Ocean. The breathtaking scenery of the coastline of Baja California Sur is the perfect setting for a cruise. Following a two-hour tour viewing Land's End's impressive beauty, the spectacular Arch, and lazy sea lions, it's time to catch the enchanting sunset.
