The Carambola Beach Resort is located on St. Croix's lush north shore and is spread out over 28 acres along beautiful Davis Bay. The resort was inspired by the various waves of settlements that characterize the history of St. Croix. The red roofs reflect St. Croix's Danish heritage, while the French influence is found in the louvered windows. The British inspired the in suite's porches, and the use of mahogany and embuia woods is the legacy of St. Croix's Spanish settlers. The symmetry and central entrance are reminiscent of Creole homes. In design the architect has captured the spirit of a Caribbean-fishing village, with cool spaces, promenades and patios that offer a delightful mixture of privacy and sociability with access to views of the bay, hills, and the Caribbean Sea. The resort has 3 superb restaurants, car rental, dive operator, gift shop, and exercise room. The 18-hole Golf Course is conveniently located on the opposite side of the hills that surround Carambola Beach. The new Spa de la Mer was completed and opened in March of 2007.

Standard Room - Lower Level, the Standard Room measures a roomy 563 square feet and is decorated in traditional Caribbean decor with terracotta tiled floors and dark mahogany wood furnishings. These rooms were built in 1986 and many still have their original furnishings. television, separate sitting area with pull-out sofa, ceiling fans, rocking chair, desk and private screened in patio. They also feature over sized bathroom, walk in closet, large shower, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and in-room safe. They are located on the west side of the property near the best part of the beach for swimming. Surrounded by lush foliage with many having partial water views. Bedding: 1 king bed.  

Standard Room - Upper Level, these rooms on the upper level have the same description as the Standard Room - Lower Level rooms; they are the same size, decor, and layout but also offer high mahogany ceilings. Bedding: 1 king bed.  

Superior Room - Lower Level, the Superior Room continues the original room layout, but is designed and decorated to appeal to today's modern traveler. They are 563 square feet with white Turkish marble floors, rich dark mahogany furniture, air conditioning, flat screen plasma television, separate sitting area with pull out sofa, private screened in porch, ceiling fans, full size refrigerator, microwave, porcelain top stove, dishwasher granite countertop and an undermount sink. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, glassware and silverware. The rooms are located on the east side of the property and is closest to the great house where the restaurants and amenities are located. Surrounded by lush foliage with many having partial water views. Bedding: 1 king bed.  

Superior Room - Upper Level, these rooms on the upper level have the same description as the Superior Room - Lower Level rooms; they are the same size, decor, and layout but also offer high mahogany ceilings. Bedding: 1 king bed.  

Suites include: a king-sized bed, air conditioning, satellite cable TV, separate sitting area with pull out sofa, ceiling fans, rocking chair, desk and a private screened in patio. The suites have a double vanity bathroom, walk-in closet, and a large shower. Other amenities include hairdryer, coffeemaker, iron/ironing board and in-room safe.  

Please Note:  

• During the period 01/18/10-03/06/10 the Standard Room - Lower Level and the Standard Room - Upper Level are not available. Please advise agents and guests accordingly.
