Distance from Hotel to Tortuguero Airport, 5 minutes.  

Laguna Lodge is located on a strip of land 656 feet wide. It's possible to get to the Lodge by boat or air*. The hotel has many trees, exotic tropical plants, a variety of birds and an open butterfly garden where guests will find various species of beautiful butterflies.  

*Air transfers to/from Tortuguero airport are not provided by Travel Impressions.

Children Policy:  

• Children 4 and under are free of charge, when sharing room with 2 paying adults.  

Maximum Occupancy:  

• Standard - 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.  

Standard, Rooms are furnished with all the basic elements for a comfortable stay. Rooms have a terrace with wooden furniture for sitting outside of the room. Number of accommodations: 2 Bedding: 1 double bed or 2 twin beds. View: Gardens.  

All accommodations include: water (hot), lamp, ceiling fan, safe deposit box and bathroom (private).  

Chair A wooden bench outside your room to sit and admire the gardens.  

Specific bedding and/or special requests are fulfilled based on availability and cannot always be guaranteed.  

Hotel Restaurant, The open air restaurant is located in front of the Tortuguero lagoon, providing beautiful views of the forests nearby, and the boats of local people passing by to the local village. Meals are served buffet style with a variety of fresh tropical fruits and vegetables. Coffee, tea, and cookies are available 24 hours a day at the  

• restaurant.

• There is an entrance fee/donation to the Caribbean Conservation Museum in the Tortuguero area which is not included in the package as it must be paid directly by the passenger.  

• Pick up time at San Jose is between 5:30am to 7:00am. Return to San Jose is between 3:30pm and 4:00pm. No connections allowed due to timings and delays.  

• Ground transportation San Jose/Dock/San Jose and Boat transportation Dock/Tortuguero Canals/Dock  

• All taxes  

Please Note:  

• If clients would like head on after Tortuguero to Arenal Volcano area (which at an extra cost) can be arranged mid way on route.  

This is an excellent idea for those, would like to combine a visit to Tortuguero and then afterwards head on to the Arenal Volcano Area, it is possible to connect both destinations. They offer you a transfer in which after clients services in Tortuguero as they are heading back to San Jose (on their return transfer back to San Jose), there is a detour point in which we can connect clients with an unescorted transfer to the Arenal Volcano area. This transfer will take place in an area called uapiles, at this same point clients would have had lunch (which was included as part of the services of the corresponding Tortuguero package.
