Merriman's Kapalua, Fresh and local are two words that easily describe our cuisine. We keep the connection from the farm to the table so short, that the fresh natural flavors become the star of the dish. Minimal in preparation, we work to compliment the natural flavors, not disguise them. We feel the flavors of Hawaii are so fabulous and we want our guests to get a true authentic taste of Hawaii.

Please Note:  

• Kapalua Adventues Upper Mountain Loop and Giant Swing:  

•  

• Due to irregular terrain, a secure tennis shoe and hiking boot is required.  

• Extra layers of clothing and/or a windbreaker is recommended as the weather can get chilly up in the mountains. Please wear clothing you do not mind getting dirty, as it tends to be muddy and dusty.  

• Please remove hanging or dangling jewelry as they can become hazardous. Removing rings is also recommended before attempting the climbing tower.  

• They are also not responsible for the loss of personal items, however, there is a small pocket on the back of the harness that you may use to store a camera or sunglasses.  

• The design specifications for our activities require a minimum of 60 lbs. and a maximum of 250 lbs. as well as a minimum age requirement of 10 years old. There is a scale available when you check in for the adventure.  

• Partners participating in the Giant Swing activity need to be within 100 lbs of one another.  

• The minimum physical requirements for this activity is the ability to carry 15 lbs. and the ability to walk up to 1/2 mile (total) over uneven terrain.  

• It is not recommended that anyone who may have a heart condition or may be pregnant, participate in any Mountain Outpost activities.  

• All trips go out rain or shine.
