Distance from hotel to Hoedspruit Airport (HDS), 180 minutes. Distance from hotel to Kruger Mpumalanga Airprt (MQP), 150 minutes.  

Mala Mala is situated in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, and shares a common border of 19km with the Kruger National Park. Mala Mala Main Camp is set on the banks of the Sand River. The thatched buildings are set among manicured lawns. The 25 luxury rooms consist of twin or double rooms, suites, family rooms and a disabled suite. Each of the air- conditioned rooms enjoys a spectacular view of the surrounding bush and is equipped with "His" and "Hers" en suite bathrooms, insect proof screens, heated towel racks, telephone, mini bars, hair dryers, room safes and a private veranda. Facilities at the lodge include the Buffalo lounge, viewing deck, filtered swimming pool, air-conditioned dining room, reed-enclosed boma, bar, wine cellar, video den and library and a bush gymnasium.
