4 Day Cruise Itinerary 2011:  

• Solimoes - River Itinerary  

Day 1 Friday:  

• Embarkation from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. Departure from the Manaus port at 6:00pm.  

Day 2 Saturday:  

• After breakfast, in the Manacaouru region, trekking or visit the local caboclo "fazenda". In the afternoon a bird watching boat trip through the Igarapes (creeks) or piranha fishing and after dinner alligator spotting. Different lectures throughout the day. Snack grill on the top deck and different social activities. Music in the Lua Disco in the evening while the cruise continues.  

Day 3 Sunday:  

• Early morning boat trip for bird watching followed by hiking in the forest and lectures on different subjects during the day. Photo safari by motor boat in the afternoon to visit the local environment. Farewell Captain's dinner in the evening with regional folkloric show and music in the Lua Disco.  

Day 4 Monday:  

• Sunrise Lover's breakfast on the top deck in the early morning and observation of the "Meeting of the Waters". Buffet breakfast in the Kuarup restaurant from 7:00am. Arrival in Manaus at approximately 8:00am and disembarkation around 8:30am.  

Shuttle information The shuttle to the place of boarding is outsourced. Values and conditions should be checked with the local Ecosight Amazon, or any company of guest's choice.  

• Shuttle from the airport to the Hotel Tropical Manaus (30 minutes). Speedboat transfers to Tres Bocas (2 hours & 30 minutes).  

• Shuttle from airport to the Hotel Tropical Manaus (30 minutes). Speedboat transfer to river Boca do Rio Cuieiras (2 hours).  

• Speedboat transfer to Novo Airao (20 minutes). Shuttle from Novo Airao to Manaus (3 hours).  

• Transfer from the airport to Manacapuru (2 hours & 30 minutes). Speedboat transfer to the hotel ship (20 minutes).  

• Iberostar is in charge of the speedboat transfer to Iberostar Grand Amazon, without additional cost to the customer. Thursdays and Sundays there are no boarginds or landings

• Rio Negro Itinerary:  

Day 1 Monday:  

• Embarkation from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. Departure from the Manaus port at 6:00pm. Pass Ponta Negra sailing towards Novo Airao.  

Day 2 Tuesday:  

• Hiking or boat ride in the Jaraqui region. Different lectures about the Amazon during the day. Grill and snacks on the top deck, photo safari by motor boat in the afternoon at the Anavilhanas Islands. After dinner, alligator spotting followed by dancing in the Lua Disco.  

Day 3 Wednesday:  

• Visit the "botos" (pink dolphins) at Novo Airao. Photo safari by boat in the afternoon at Maependi. After dinner, come to have fun with the expedition team and dance at the Lua Disco.  

Day 4 Thursday:  

• Early morning boat trip for bird watching. In the morning visit a local indigenous village and after lunch take a boat trip to visit the Ariau river region. Farewell Captain's dinner in the Kuarup restaurant at 8:00pm. After dinner, regional folkloric show and music in the Lua Disco until 1:30am.  

Day 5 Friday:  

• Sunrise Lover's breakfast on the top deck in the early morning and observation of the "Meeting of the Waters". Buffet breakfast in the Kuarup restaurant from 7:00am. Arrival in Manaus at approximately 8:00am and disembarkation around 8:30am.
