DOLPHIN QUEST, an educational face to face encounter with bottlenose dolphins under the expert guidance of a professional staff in their own crystal clear lagoon.

Reservations for Dolphin Quest programs are taken 2 months to the day in advance. Please note that if the encounters are full, clients may be waitlisted for every day that the client would like to participate. There is an excellent chance the waitlist may be cleared if the clients consider participating in the following guidelines:

• Children's encounters are scheduled every day at 3pm. After the names of the children holding confirmed times are called, the names on the waitlist will be called to fill any available slots. But, they must be present and checked in to be considered.  

• Adult's encounters are scheduled every day at 9:30am, 11am, 2 pm and 4 pm. After the names of the adult holding confirmed times are called, the names on the waitlist will be called to fill any available slots. But, they must be present and checked in to be considered.  

• Clients should check in at the Dolphin Quest Learning Lagoon gift shop every time they are available to participate, 30 minutes in advance of the scheduled encounter time. Although there may be several names ahead of them on the waitlist, only those present will be eligible when the waitlist is read.  

• If your client's name is called and they are not checked in or present, their name will remain on the list for all the days they are waitlisted.  

• Dolphin quest reserves the right to change or cancel programs  

No Smoking Policy Smoking is prohibited in enclosed or partially enclosed facilities open to the public. This includes private businesses, areas of employment and facilities owned by the state or the counties.  

With this law in place, many of the room lanais have been converted to non-smoking. Please keep in mind that the hotel will make every attempt to provide Lanai smoking floor accommodations as requested but will not guarantee same. Floors are subject to change.  

Smoking is allowed only on the Guest Room Lanais on the following towers:

Early Check-Out Fee  

• An early check-out fee has been implemented at Hilton Hawaii. If a guest checks out earlier than scheduled, the guest will be assessed a one-time fee. The customer will be advised of the penalty at the time of check-in and asked to confirm his/her check-out date. If the check-out date is changed at time of check-in, there will be no penalty. Any changes in the departure date after check-in will result in the Early Check-Out Fee being assessed to the guest.  

Guaranteed Connecting Rooms Should clients require connecting rooms in advance and are willing to guarantee and accept a nightly charge, the hotel will check availability in advance and, if available, will confirm.  

Fee is $30.00 plus tax per room pair, per night.  

The above applies only to those clients desiring advance guaranteed connecting room and who agree to the charge. For all other bookings that do not want to guarantee and pay the fee, the resort will note that the clients are requesting connecting rooms but understand this is not guaranteed. If a request for connecting rooms is available upon arrival, clients will be assigned same at no extra charge.

• Porterage is available for a fee, payable to the hotel directly.  

Camp Menehune - Children's Program On a day when you want to relax, let us take care of the Menehune (little people)...they won't be bored, and we'll return them to you full of stories about their adventures. Camp Menehune prides itself on providing a safe and fun environment for your children, ages 5 through 12. Reservations are required by the night prior and can be made by calling 1 (808) 886-1234 extension 1202. Attire should include comfortable day wear, a swimsuit, sunscreen and comfortable walking/running shoes. Proof of age may be required. Parents/guardians must accompany their children to and from Camp. Programs are subject to change depending on group size, age and interests or weather. Registration forms and waivers are required for Camp participation. You may complete these forms at the Registration Desk at the Camp Menehune Recreation Room. All camp counselors are licensed childcare providers for the State of Hawaii.  

• They are trained in first aid and CPR for adults and children. Camp supervisors are also licensed lifeguards.

We also offer Drop By activities at 3:30 pm daily in the Menehune Recreation Room, located on the 2nd floor in Ocean Tower, which feature an exciting activity at no charge.
