Twice daily safaris in open vehicles or on foot, combine a landscape experience with game viewing - over 16 species of antelope, plains game, lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, wild dog and the rare brown hyena. • Meals are enjoyed on the dining room deck, offering elevated views of the Waterberg wilderness, in the dining room in the warm glow of an open fire, or under a starlit sky in a reed enclosed boma.

Conservation Levy A R62.00 per bed, per night Conservation Levy will be collected upon departure. It is the guests' responsibility to pay this. Dress Code Makweti offers a casual interlude, your comfort is important. No need to dress up. Recommended: lightweight neutral colored clothing, a warm sweater, and windproof jacket for the summer months. Warm, padded jackets, with warm sweaters for the winter months. A good pair of walking shoes and hat is recommended year round.  

Activities Twice daily games drives in open 4x4 game viewing safari vehicles and nature walks. The excellent game viewing experience is complimented by other activities such as stargazing, bird watching and walking excursions to the bushmen art.
