Deluxe, The captivating interior of the 28 square meter Deluxe Rooms comes courtesy of high ceilings and Florentine or Imperial themed decor. Also available are 24 square meter single Deluxe Rooms, a perfect option for the single traveler. Exquisitely patterned brocades and original frescos in the Florentine-style rooms pay homeage to the city's vital role in the European silk trade.  

Coffered ceilings in the Imperial-style rooms engage regal nuances. Expansive windows proffer scenes of the city, courtyard, or Arno River. Single rooms provide specific views of the city, courtyard, or Via Montebello. Select Deluxe Arno River View rooms are available with a step-out balcony. Single rooms will have French Luxury beds. Each is wrapped in 250-thread count, pure cotton Luxury Collection sheets. A number of rooms are available with commanding canopy beds. Winter Garden Balcony (breakfast Buffet), The warm Tuscan terracotta walls and columns of the balconata, where the buffet is located, stretch skyward and are capped by the Winter Garden's fabled, jewel-toned stained glass ceiling. Rare antique furniture populates the room offset by grand arches, a combination that rivals Florence's top museums. Our delectable breakfast buffet more than matches the pristine surroundings. In addition to a variety of warm a la carte dishes, there is an assortment of breads, cakes and croissants served alongside various jams, marmalades, cheese and salami. Incanto Cafe, The graceful entryway of the InCanto Cafe welcomes guests into an engaging room marked by stainless steel furnishings, mirrors and vibrant Murano lamps, all set off by cream walls. A varied selection of delicious snacks is on offer to supplement the extensive beverage menu, which includes premium liquors, champagnes, fine wines by the glass and numerous classic cocktails. The cafe presents the perfect opportunity to try the world famous, Florentine born Negroni. Named for Count Camillo Negroni in 1919, the cocktail traditionally mixes gin, vermouth and a bitter (often Campari) for a distinct flavor. Various coffee specialties are also available. Incantinetta, Set in a restored medieval cave, InCantinetta presents the ideal location to indulge in Tuscany's rich wine industry. Burnished terracotta floors, white washed walls and vaulted ceilings provide a clean backdrop for the numerous high quality wood shelves stocked with decidedly collectable wines, including Tuscan favorite Sassicaia. Additionally, there are everyday wines and small bath local varieties like the Capannelle Toscano Chardonnay. The highlight of InCantinetta, however, is our comprehensive wine tasting session, available exclusively upon request. Guests are taken on a comprehensive journey through the Tuscan wine region led by a professional sommelier who explains the origin of the wines, their tastes and how to taste them. Wines are expertly paired with delicious appetizers for an unforgettable and indigenous experience.  

Restaurant Incanto, Overlooking the Ponte Vecchio, Belvedere and Chiesa del Cestello, the terrace at Restaurant InCanto is undeniably one-of-a-kind. The rushing water of the ARno provides the perfect soundtrack for a relaxing, palate-pleasing meal. Inside, the striking dining room is the design of a notable architect. This regal room, where glinting crystal chandeliers highlight high ceilings and authentic moldings and sconces decorate the walls, symbolizes both the worldly and contemporary sides of the Grand Hotel. The clean lines of the supple brown leather chairs harmoniously detail the restaurant's modern intonation, also seen in the classic-with-a- twist Italian offerings. The open kitchen offers diners a glimpse of Tuscan born, internationally trained Chef as he flawlessly fuses contemporary European cuisine. An innovator who has been the hotel's Executive Chef since 1997, the Chef combines traditional Italian techniques with contemporary cooking methods. The results are new and surprising dishes. Two especially celebrated creations are his beef carpaccio marinated in Tuscan herbs served with Parmesan cheese, vinegar jellies and rucola mousse and his Pesto gratinated fillet of beef with onions and peppers in Montalcino red wine sauce. Rounding out a spectacular meal is the 300 label wine list from InCantinetta, the Grand Hotel, Florence's private wine cellar.
