Distance from hotel to airport, 45 minutes by car. Distance from hotel to town, 7 minutes by car.  

This hotel has a total of 350 rooms, distributed in 3 story buildings surrounded by jungle and tropical gardens. Among them, the only ones with an ocean front view are the 24 junior suites and the 2 presidential suites. All standard rooms have a balcony with a garden or pool view and they have either two double beds or one king size bed. All rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fan, private bathrooms with shower and hairdryers. They all are equipped with color cable television with remote control, mini bar with soft drinks, beer and bottled water, coffee maker, telephone, in room safe deposit boxes, iron and ironing board.  

The hotel offers a variety of activities during the day (aerobics, dance lessons, water polo, beach volleyball, basketball, Spanish lessons, etc.). There is 1 multi purpose court and 2 lighted tennis courts (equipment included at no extra charge) and a fitness center. The PADI Dive Center located right on the hotel's beach offers catamarans, kayaks, snorkeling equipment and diving lessons in the pool at no extra charge (for a limited time, based on availability), and optional dives and certification course at an additional cost. Lucy's Mini Club has supervised activities for children 4 to 12 years old, everyday. As for the adults, there is a different show with live music every night at the theater.  

Besides the Buffet Restaurant Tulum (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner), this hotel features 5 specialty restaurants offering dinner only (limited number of reservations based on stay, dress code): Mexican "La Hacienda", Italian "La Gondola", de Carnes "La Marimba", Tropical "Uxmal" and Japanese "Bonsai". Domestic and international drinks are served at the following bars: "El Paso" (in the lobby area), "La Plaza" (Bar Theater), "El Kiosco" (on the beach), aside from the swim-up bar and the one at the night club "La Mascara". In addition, the hotel offers room service from 11:00am until 11:00pm.

• Also, at certain restaurants there is a minimum age: e.g. Gourmet El Museo at Paraiso Lindo and Gourmet L'Etoile at Paraiso Maya (12 years).  

• Any extra reservation will be granted only if there is availability on the very same day. Guests are placed on a waiting list and they will be notified that afternoon.
