Distance from hotel to town, 20 minutes. Distance from hotel to airport, 30 minutes.  

The hotel has a total of 446 rooms, among them are 14 honeymoon suites and 2 presidential suites. All rooms have a private balcony and either one king size bed or two double beds. Every room has air conditioning and ceiling fan, private bathrooms with bathtub, shower and hairdryers, lighted cosmetic mirror and telephone. They all are equipped with color cable television with remote control, fully stocked mini bar, coffee maker, telephone, alarm clock, in room safe deposit boxes, iron and ironing board.  

The hotel offers a variety of activities during the day such as dance lessons, water polo, beach volleyball, basketball, archery, air rifle shooting, tennis table, etc. The PADI Dive Center located right at the hotel's beach offers catamarans, kayaks, snorkeling equipment and diving lessons in the pool at no extra charge (for a limited time, based on availability), and optional dives and certification course at an additional cost. Lucy's Mini Club offers supervised activities from 10:15am to 5:00pm for children ages 4 to 12 daily. For adults, there is a different show with live music and dance performances every night at the theater. If they prefer to dance themselves, there is a theme night club. In addition, they can also play golf at Iberostar Playa Paraiso Golf Club, an 18-hole course, par 72 (at a supplementary fee).  

Besides the Buffet Restaurant "El Fogon" (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner), the hotel offers 4 specialty restaurants (reservations required, dress code): Cajun "Jambalaya", Gourmet "El Museo" (adults only, minimum age 12 years), Chinese "Pagoda" and Italian "La Laguna". Breakfast and lunch are also offered at the Snack Restaurant located by the pool. In addition, guests staying at this hotel can access all restaurants and bars at the sister hotels Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar and Iberostar Paraiso Beach. This hotel also features room service 24 hours a day.
