List of Legal Requirements to Get Married in Cancun:  

• Bride, groom and witnesses must arrive in Cancun 4 working days prior to the wedding day. Saturdays, Sundays and Mexican holidays do not count.  

• The wedding coordinator must receive the following documents in order to start the corresponding application for a marriage in the Civil Registry Office.  

• Tourist card (you will get them at your arrival at the Cancun airport)  

• Birth certificate. Certified copy of each one with the Apostille document.  

• The documents should be translated into Spanish. Translation must be done in Mexico, otherwise will not be valid.  

• If bride is divorced, a Final Divorce Decree certified copy with the Apostille document.  

• Valid passports  

• Blood tests. These must be taken in Mexico. They are not valid if taken anywhere else. To be considered valid, the test should not be taken more then 14 days prior to the ceremony. The blood will be tested for HIV, RPR (sexually transmitted diseases) and blood type. The results will be ready in 24 hours together with a certificate of the blood test.  

• The names, addresses, nationalities, ages, occupation, relationship, copy of tourist card and valid identification of the 4 witnesses are needed. Wedding Coordinator will send the couple the legal forms.  

• The marriage certificate is only valid in Mexico. In order to make it legal internationally, the wedding coordinator will send a copy of your license to Validation Process. There is a fee for this. The process may take up to 4 months. Once the document is apostilled and translated into English, the hotel will send all documentation to your home address.  

• None of the above mentioned services are included in the Wedding Packages.  

• It is the couple's responsibility to have all the documents ready before the wedding.  

Us Citizens:  

• An apostille document must be attached to all birth certificates, divorce decrees, death certificates, adoptions and name change documents. For information on how to obtain apostille documents, please contact your Secretary of State Office.

• The supervised Explorer's Club keeps your kids totally entertained with exciting games, adventure and exploration. The Explorer's Club, included in your Unlimited-Luxury privileges, is wonderful not only for kids who have the time of their lives, but for parents who finally get time of their own. Created especially for youngsters 3 to 12 years old, all Explorer's Clubs are fully and professionally supervised and filled with adventures kids will really enjoy and treasure.  

Time flies by with daily activities based around nature, science and exploration. Hunting for hidden treasure. Splashing into the sea from an ocean trampoline. Sandcastle competitions. Creative arts and crafts. Even movies on the beach!  

Once a week, the Explorer's Club offers an overnight camping adventure. They'll make new friends from around the world, while parents reconnect with each other. And no worries, because the Explorer's Club staff is certified in both CPR and First Aid. Parents can get a pager should they be needed for any reason.

Guests can utilize the facilities at the resort they are visiting from 6:00pm to 1:00am. The experience is only good for dinner via reservations made through the resort concierge. Guests are responsible for the cost of transportation to and from the resort for a maximum of four people per seating.

SINGLE SUPPLEMENT INFO

Complimentary Golf Golf at The Riviera Maya Golf Club  

• From 11/15/10 to 04/30/12, guests are able to enjoy up to one complimentary green fee per person, per day as part of their Unlimited-Luxury experience at the Riviera Maya Golf Club. The use of a golf cart is mandatory where there will be a charge per person. Guests will have access to the all inclusive on course food and beverage service provided at The Riviera Maya Golf Club.  

• Guests must arrange their tee time from 45 days to 24 hours in advance with the resort concierge and provide a credit card when doing so.  

• If guests wish to cancel or reschedule their tee time, they must do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $100.00 USD no show penalty per person which, will be charged to the credit card they have provided. The concierge will then issue guests a coupon, which will grant them access to the golf course. Tee times will be subject to availability.
