Student & Youth Policy The Oasis Cancun will accept student and youth travel provided the following conditions are met:
• Upon check in, passengers will be required to purchase a spring break insurance policy in the amount of $27.00 USD.
• Policy is mandatory, per person and non refundable.
• Credit cards issued to someone other than the guest (i.e. parent, spouse, etc.) are not accepted in Mexico.
• Minimum age requirement for hotel check in is 18 years of age. Any hotel guests under the age of 18 will require chaperone(s). One chaperone is required per 1-19 students/ youths under the age of 18. The minimum age requirement for a chaperone is 25.
• Please note the legal drinking age in Mexico is 18.
Family Program
• Effective 01/04/12-12/20/12, children 12 years of age and younger will stay and eat free when sharing accommodations with two paying adults (maximum 2 kids per room, using existing bedding).
• Children 0 to 6 years old are free year round.
• Must include children's age in reservation.
• Proper ID (passport) for age verification upon check in is required. Without proper ID/age requirement, the hotel will apply full extra passenger fees at current rack rate.
OASIS RUNAWAY PROGRAM
• In an effort to maximize comfort for our guests participating in the Oasis Runaway program, a visit to the concierge (Oasis Plus) desk available at any of the resorts is required to make arrangements 1 day prior to visiting any other Oasis participating resort. Staff will need to know visiting date, estimated time of arrival and resort they are planning to visit. The staff will place a courtesy call in advance on their behalf. Cost of transportation not included.
• Guests staying at any of the Oasis Hotels and Resorts on an all inclusive basis will be able to visit and enjoy the other Oasis resorts for the day, having access to all food and beverage outlets and resort facilities. The ID system will be based on their wrist bracelet. Guests staying at any of Grand Oasis property will be able to visit any other Grand Oasis or Oasis Resort as described above. Guests of any Oasis property will have access to other Oasis properties only without charge. However, guests staying at any of the Oasis properties will be able to have access to Grand Oasis facilities paying a surcharge per person, for "day use" only.
