Hemingway Suite, Ideal for honeymooners or any romantic escape, the Hemingway suite exudes contemporary elegance and understated style. The suite is the largest of the three deluxe suites with stunning views across the beautiful garden and pristine white sandy beach.  

The bathroom has his and hers sinks, oversized shower and freestanding tub all enhanced by the skylight and dark wood furnishings. The bedroom itself has the "Caribbean feel" with pieces from Guyana and throughout the islands all skillfully put together to create a perfect relaxing escape.  

Hibiscus Suite, The Hibiscus Suite overlooks the perfect white sand and blue sea of Payne's Bay. The Suite is designed using Afro Caribbean and Amerindian influences. The large living room area opens up on to the balcony and plunge pool. The bathroom has a beautiful oversized tub with modern fixtures and a glass encased shower for two. The walk-in closet is lit by the natural Caribbean sunshine that pours in through the ceiling to floor windows.  

The bedroom is designed for comfort with dark hardwood furnishings and light imaginative artwork. Full room service is available during usual restaurant hours as well as a well stocked wet bar.  

Hummingbird Suite, The Hummingbird is perched on the northern side with views of the glistening Caribbean waters and warm sandy beach. This Suite is cool and relaxing with the use of light neutral colors and exquisite Guyanese furnishings and artwork. The small alcove looking out onto the beach is ideal for early morning tea while the sun rises over Barbados.  

The bathroom is modern and crisp with an oversized tub, separate shower for two, and his and her sinks. The Molton Brown amenities provide the sensual aroma to help create an intimate atmosphere from the moment you enter this ideal retreat.  

Please Note:  

• The only difference in the suites (Garden, Pool & Ocean) is the view. Ground floor suites have patios. Upper suites have balconies.  

• All Ocean View and Pool View suites feature coral stone walls, marble tiled floors, plasma flat panel television and larger stylish new bathrooms.  

All accommodations include: kettle, bathtub/shower separate, refrigerator, bathroom, hairdryer, toaster and bar (fully stocked).

Al Fresco, Delicious offerings from the kitchen together with a warm and welcoming staff make the Al Fresco Restaurant a must where guests can dine under the stars and enjoy a variety of culinary experiences all using fresh local ingredients prepared to international standards. The split lever restaurant is set amongst tropical gardens with a view over the pool to the Caribbean Sea.

General Destination Information - Important!  

• Please advise all clients traveling to Barbados:  

• The wearing of camouflage or military apparel is illegal, and clothing will be confiscated and persons will be charged accordingly.  

Dress Code:  

• Attire during the day is informal. For the evenings long pants and shirts for the gentlemen and elegant attire for the ladies. No shorts or jeans are allowed after 7:00pm.  

Legal Requirements For Marriage In Barbados:  

• Applicants must be over 18 years of age.  

• Prior to applying for their marriage license the couple must make arrangements for an officiating Minister and obtain a letter from him/her to take to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The hotel will arrange this in advance for the couple.  

• This letter, along with the documents outlined below, must be presented to the Ministry of Home Affairs, 5th Floor, General Post Office Building, Cheapside, Bridgetown, St Michael at the time that the application is made for the marriage license. Transportation will be provided.  

• Documents required are: passport, birth certificate or if no passport a drivers license or ID card with a photograph.  

• If either party was married previously and widowed, a notarized copy of the marriage certificate and death certificate in respect of the deceased spouse will be required.  

• If either party was divorced, an original copy of the Decree Absolute and NOT the Decree Nisi.  

• Once the application for the marriage license has been made the couple may be married immediately.  

• The Marriage Certificate is obtained from the Courts in Bridgetown. This certificate is not always ready prior to the couples departure. In cases like this, the hotel will forward the certificate to the couple.  

• For a Roman Catholic ceremony, the relevant documents must be sent by your bishop to the bishop of Bridgetown.  

• Where necessary, all documents not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation.
