The overall vibe of Crested Butte is laid-back, down to earth and just plain fun. It’s a town with a large Victorian historic district, pulsing with plenty activity and fine dining.
The skiing in Crested Butte, however, is not necessarily laid-back. While the Kid's Park is open to all skiers and snowboarders and beginners slopes abound, Crested Butte is also known for offering lots of extreme skiing – some of the best in the world. Luckily the lift lines are short, so you’ll have plenty of time to practice and become an expert before you know it. |
