Born out of the rowdy gold rush of the 1860’s, Breckenridge is a bustling historic town that the largest historic district in Colorado – attracting skiers and non-skiers alike with its activities, restaurants and nightlife. In fact it’s one of the most popular ski resorts in North America, with over 1.5 million visitors annually.

Breckenridge’s 155 trails offer a nice mixture of beginning, intermediate and expert runs to complement each type of skier, and 300 inches of annual snowfall guarantee optimal conditions to swoosh down the mountainside. The resort’s lifts and gondolas are state-of-the-are and include the Imperial Express Superchair – the highest lift in North America that climbs 12,840 feet.
