The Alcove Suites, which could comfortably accommodate parents and two children, overlook the hotel's Mediterranean gardens.

Vista Suite(*), With a classical theme set by 4 entrance pillars, the Vista Suites boast a grand marble fireplace and a bed that looks directly through the balcony windows to the panorama of Rome. One spacious ambiance, the suites are furnished in traditional Cavalieri style with original art and antiques including a reclining leather "massage" chair to ease those weary muscles after a day of sightseeing.

Corner Suite(*), The Corner Suites offer two separate rooms - sleeping and living - the latter with comfortable sofa, arm chair, rare French antique work desk and a massage chair to ease tired muscles. Full of light, accented with lovely blond wood, the suite is decorated with original art and antiques and comes with all the usual luxury features including a gorgeous bathroom with separate bath and shower. The views of Rome from its double balcony are glorious.

Pool Bar, Located next to the outdoor pool, the Pool Bar is a fun and active place for a drink or a meal throughout the summer months. Grilled vegetables, hamburgers, pizzas, Mediterranean dishes, juices and home-made ice cream all feature, as do our special festive summer cocktails served on crushed ice. Open May 1st to October 1st.

Grand Spa Cafe, To complement the treatments in the Grand Spa and to rejuvenate those working out in the gym, our Grand Spa Cafe offers a selection of healthy drinks and light meals, including freshly squeezed juices, fitness drinks, salads, and fresh fruit. There is also a wonderful range of herbal teas and tisanes to ease you back into the real world after your massage.

Tiepolo Lounge & Terrace, Situated in the main lobby, the Cavalieri's Tiepolo Lounge is the focal point of the hotel. With terraces extending outside, where cushioned wicker chairs and sofas overlook the pool and the gardens, this is where guests meet and mingle, the place to see and be seen. Its setting beneath the soaring lobby ceiling is enhanced by the spectacular Tiepolo tryptch on one side and exquisitely crafted antique tapestries on the other. Open all day, the lobby is the rendezvous for morning coffee, light lunches, snacks and drinks. During winter, a traditional English High Tea is served every afternoon. In summer, don't miss our supremely creative summer cocktails. Live music daily from 8:30pm to midnight.

L'uliveto, On the garden level of the hotel, L'Uliveto overlooks the landscaped park adjacent to the outdoor pool. Featuring Mediterranean and international dishes, its menu leans naturally towards Italian cuisine. Informal and welcoming, L'Uliveto sets high culinary standards and regularly highlights regional specialities, from Puglia to Piemonte. In summer tables are laid outside on the terrace.

La Pergola(*), A wine cellar with over 50,000 bottles, a water menu with 29 choices, olive oils and vintage balsamic vinegars from some of the best producers in Italy, and some of the finest ingredients to be sourced in the Mediterranean - all hint at the pursuit of culinary excellence. But like everything at the Rome Cavalieri, it is also about ambience, about style. Your table is laid with vermeil plates and cutlery. All around are some of the hotel's most charming art treasures - fine paintings, a rare Aubusson tapestry, Svres porcelain, 18th century bronze candelabra, precious imperial furniture and a wonderful collection of hand-blown glass. At the center of the room is an imposing 17th century Celadron vase adorned each day with a spectacular floral composition created by the hotel's master florist. Adjoining La Pergola is our exclusive Cigar Lounge where you can savor a great cigar with a vintage liqueur while enjoying a fine collection of orientalist paintings. But nothing influences the character of an evening at La Pergola so much as Rome itself. Beyond the panoramic windows the Eternal City is spread beneath you. On summer evenings, out on the candlelit terrace, the city twinkles like fallen constellations. The dome of St Peter's seems close enough to touch.
