VASTOUR: MORNING CITY TOUR Duration: 4 hours

Drive by coach to Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the wonderful panoramic view of the city. Going back to the old center for the walking tour of the historical center. The tour will continue with the guided visit of the Duomo Complex: Giotto's bell tower (external visit), the Baptistery with its bronze doors including the famous Porta del Paradiso, and the internal visit of the Cathedral* with the magnificent Cupola of Cupola of Brunelleschi. Walking through the heart of Florence we will reach the Galleria Dell 'Accademia** to admire David by Michelangelo and other works by the great artist.

*Cannot be visited on Sundays, bank and public holidays. **Closed on Monday. Replaced with the visit of the Bargello Museum or the Medici Chapels.

VASTOUR: AFTERNOON CITY TOURDuration: 4 hours

Departure by coach to Fiesole, a delightful town of Etruscan origin situated on the hills that dominate Florence and the Arno Valley. We will come back to the historic center of Florence and will stop for a visit to the Franciscan Church of Santa Croce (external visit).

Walking through the historic streets of Florence we reach the famous Piazza della Signoria, to admire the marvellous Palazzo Vecchio (external visit) and the beautiful Loggia del Lanzi. The tour continues with a guided tour of the famous Galleria Degli Uffizi* where we can admire the original paintings of Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio.

*The gallery is closed on Monday. Replaced with the visit of the museum of Palazzo Vecchio.

VASTOUR: SIENA AND SAN GIMIGNANODuration: full day

An opportunity to visit two of the loveliest town in Tuscany. The excursion takes us through the famous Chianti countryside, with an every changing scenery of vineyards and olive trees. Arrival in Siena and walking guided tour of the old city center to admire the splendid palaces and the marvellous Cathedral where we can visit the interior including the Libreria Piccolomini and the adjacent Museo dell'Opera Metropolitana. The guided tour will continue to the Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful in the world with the majestic Palazzo Comunale. Free time for lunch (not included). Departure to San Gimignano, a tiny city that has remained intact across the centuries and famous for its medieval towers and other art treasures. Situated on a hilltop, offers a magnificent view of the valley. Time at leisure to discover this fascinating city and return to Florence.

VASTOUR: EXCURSION TO PISA

A magnificent excursion through the fertile Tuscan countryside to the historic city of Pisa which was one of the known four Marine Republics. After the panoramic drive the tour continues with a guided visit of the famous Piazza dei Miracoli; the Leaning Tower, the Baptistery, and other important monuments. Before leaving the city we will visit the Cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque art built between the 11th and 12th century. Return to Florence.

VAS TOURS: EXCURSION TO CHIANTI (WINE TASTING)

An excursion to one of the most suggestive areas of Tuscany, known all over the world for its wine and its countryside of unrivalled charm, where woods alternate with vineyards and olive groves, in a landscape dotted with Romanesque churches, farm houses, villas and castles of rare beauty. This tour includes a visit to a site of particular historic and artistic interest in an ancient hamlet and to one of the most famous wine-growing estates, complete with a snack and tasting of its prestigious wines. The excursions are carried out in different areas of the Chianti region.
