Hotel de Rome is located on Bebelplatz, off Unter den Linden. It is a conversion of an existing building constructed in 1889 by architect Ludwig Heim (appointed master builder of the government), which housed the head office of Dresdner Bank until 1945. This is one of the few luxury hotels in Berlin located in an original building making use of its full architectural splendor and thereby offering guests an authentic Berlin experience. Hotel de Rome in Berlin has 146 large bedrooms including 61 Classic rooms, 27 Deluxe rooms, 15 Superior Deluxe rooms, 30 Junior suites, five Classic suites, three Executive suites, two historical Deluxe suites, two Historic suites and the 105m2 Bebel suite. Most of the rooms have high ceilings and classical proportions. The Bebel suite at Hotel de Rome has a full-length terrace which overlooks Bebelplatz. All bath- rooms have separate walk-in showers and mosaic marble detailing above double ended baths.

Junior Suite, Junior Suite at Hotel de Rome measures 45-55 sq m/ 484-592 sq ft and incorporates a King bed. This room provides a fantastic view over Bebelplatz, one of the city's most impressive squares. Opera Dinner, At the turn of the century, the Opera Court was the bank lobby - today it is like an elegant living room nestling under the gold-framed skylights in the stucco ornamented 5 metre high ceiling. Modelled on The Brown's in London, a member of the Rocco Forte Collection and many times recipient of The Tea Guild award for best afternoon tea in London, the Opera Court invites guests to tea in the best British tradition from 2 pm to 6 pm daily. Or as an alternative why not try something new - Italian style "Dolce Pasticceria", including a glass of spumante with dolci, cappuccino and nuts. You can choose from 23 different varieties of leaf tea, various coffee specialities as well as home-made cakes and gateaux.  

Parioli, Parioli's elegant decor is held in warm brown and beige tones fringed with gold and recalls the building's former role as a bank. The round alcove tables are ideally suited for discrete private conversations and meetings. A special highlight is the terrace restaurant in the picturesque inner courtyard which is the perfect setting for an al fresco breakfast, lunch or dinner during the summer months. Head Chef Raffaele Cesare Cannizzaro delights his guests with a cuisine marked by a light, Mediterranean-Italian touch. The Italian chef, born in Gummersbach, emphasises a purist lack of ostentation in his culinary creations. Cannizzaro only uses the very best ingredients bought fresh from the market - for him the product itself is the star. He describes his Mediterranean specialities as "light, original, flavoursome and unmistakable". The exquisite la carte menu includes ossobucco with Spanish saffron, risotto with green asparagus, cappelini with white veal bolognese, Norcia truffles and grilled calamaretti with lemon confit.
