Atlantis Submarine Expedition Tour, Barbados ATLANTIS SUBMARINE EXPEDITION TOURDuration: 2 Hours 20 Minutes

Come experience the adventure of a lifetime on board the Atlantis Submarine! Your adventure begins at the Shallow Draught where you will have time to browse for souvenirs or enjoy a cool drink and snack at Cafe Sublime. Your quest begins when you board the shuttle vessel "Ocean Quest" as you sit back and enjoy the seven-minute scenic cruise to the Atlantis Submarine as the Atlantis crew gives an informative talk. Once arriving at the dive site, you are treated to the sight of the Submarine surfacing. Then you will make the easy transfer from the Ocean Quest to the Atlantis. On board the vessel you are seated in spacious, air-conditioned comfort as your incredible underwater experience begins. First the submarine will dive to 55 feet to view the beautiful coral reef and the abundance of marine life, including spectacular coral, sponge, and colorful fish through large, clear viewing windows. The 45-minute underwater journey is narrated by a knowledgeable co-pilot who will point out and explain the amazing sea life as well as give a history of Atlantis and the submarine itself. Before returning to the surface, the submarine descends to depths of 115 to 150 feet to view what has in the past been reserved for scuba divers only - a sunken shipwreck! After resurfacing, you are transferred back onboard the Ocean Quest for the return to Shallow Draught.

Atlantis Power Snorkel Adventure ATLANTIS POWER SNORKEL ADVENTUREDuration: 2 Hours

Enjoy a fun and exciting snorkel experience using a special hand-held power "scooter" as you explore the wrecks and fauna of Carlisle Bay. Your tour will start with a bus trip to the transfer vessel dock where you are outfitted with your snorkel gear. On leaving the Shallow Draught, your guide explains the proper use of the snorkel gear and Power Scooter. A fifteen-minute ride on a power catamaran will take you into historic Carlisle Bay home to the famed wrecks Berwyn and Cornwallis. With the beautiful aquamarine water as the backdrop, and the general safety instructions from your guide, you are ready to take the plunge with your power snorkel gear! Once you are comfortable with your snorkeling equipment you will receive your individual Power Scooter. These scooters are simple to use and safe to operate. After a few minutes orientation, your guide will lead you on a fascinating tour over wrecks that date from the early 1900's to the late 1900's. Your guide points out underwater features of interest and describes the delicate natural balance of the coral reef ecosystem. After thirty minutes of guided snorkeling, the tour returns to the boat or platform. You are then given your power snorkel and after a brief orientation you start the tour exploring additional points of interest in the peaceful atmosphere of Carlisle Bay until the all aboard call is given. The zippy ride back is an adventure that is enjoyed by many.

Restrictions: Children of 15 years of age or older allowed. Participants must be in good physical condition and less than 230 pounds.
